We will continue partnering with our CBOs, internal stakeholders and prime suppliers
to help identify and develop diverse suppliers in low-utilization areas.
10.1.5 Plans for Encouraging Prime Contractors
to Subcontract With Diverse Suppliers
We will continue to encourage prime contractors to broaden their pool of
subcontractors through a variety of activities. This includes referring them to the
Supplier Clearinghouse’s certified business directory, inviting primes to participate
in matchmaking events to meet subcontractors and assigning a supplier diversity
professional to every major prime contractor, every major project and every major
procurement effort.

Diversity Program Guidelines
We will continue our efforts to meet or exceed all requirements established by
General Order 156. SDG&E fully supports equal opportunity for all without regard
