9.1.1 Description of Supplier Diversity Program Activities
During the Previous Calendar Year
EXTERNAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES
In 2025, our Responsible Sourcing team participated in nearly 30 events — including webinars and annual conferences of diverse business
certification entities, business associations and community organizations — to connect with small and/or diverse businesses.
As part of the executive panel discussion at the CPUC’s 23rd Annual Supplier Diversity En Banc, SDG&E President Scott Crider spoke about his
commitment to an inclusive supply chain and the economic benefits it produces. He highlighted our efforts to double down on supplier outreach
and launch a new technical assistance program, in partnership with the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center, to help
suppliers become more competitive and bid-ready.
